While domestic demand for seafood in Japan is declining due to changing eating habits and a shrinking population, exports of farm-raised yellowtail continue to grow steadily.
Driven by the global popularity of Japanese cuisine such as sushi and sashimi, demand is increasing across many countries, especially in emerging markets.

Among these, exports to Asian markets are showing particularly strong growth, and further expansion is expected in the coming years.
